Patrick works with sales, hoteliers, support and administrative staff to create viable business products and solutions that provide insight and opportunity for hoteliers to effectively manage their operations.
Patrick O’Brien started his career with Dominion Enterprises in March ’04 as an inside sales rep for EmploymentGuide.com. In October of ’04 Patrick was promoted to PrinterNet Account Executive in which he worked with the local print offices to build electronic revenue. In June ’06 Patrick was promoted to General Sales Manager of the Orlando Employment Guide. Shortly after he took over responsibility as the General Manager for the Pensacola, Jacksonville, Miami and Fort Lauderdale Employment Guide offices. He was also the Florida District Internet Mentor.
In October of 2010, Patrick joined the Travel Media Group as the Business Development Manager for the portal sites (RoomSaver.com and HotelCoupons.com). In this role he was responsible for the social media & marketing efforts, the development of the online product strategy/roadmap, the National rebranding of HotelCoupons.com and training of TMGs online initiatives.
In October of 2012, Patrick was promoted to Product Development Manager where he continues to work with the HotelCoupons.com brand and mobile initiatives as well as oversees the reputation management and listing management products.
Prior to working with Dominion Enterprises, Patrick was a Network Controller for Cable & Wireless and a Provisioning Engineer for Worldcom.
Patrick received his MBA from Old Dominion University and his B.A. in Communications & Marketing at Virginia Tech.
Outside of the office you’ll find Patrick playing guitar and singing at local bars & restaurants. Of course, that’s in addition to raising two kids – a full time job in itself.
