Jason Lee has more than 21 years of expertise in the hospitality industry, with extensive experience in operations and marketing. By leveraging new media and technology, he has increased market share and penetration for hotels. Jason designed and created his first hospitality website with booking functionality in 1998 for a small mid-level hotel chain in California. He has since gone on to work with mega sites, such as HotelCoupons.com.
Jason is responsible for developing, expanding and refining the Travel Media Group digital product portfolio. He manages both inside and outsourced IT development teams, and works closely with Sales and Marketing teams to insure product viability, scalability and sales need.
His primary objective at Travel Media Group is to derive key insights from our customers, and translate those into cutting-edge, affordable and high-quality travel industry product innovations. His favorite thing about coming to work everyday is that he gets to work on products and services that truly impact the day to day lives of hoteliers.
Jason studied Hospitality at Cal Poly Pomona and graduated in 1996 and earned the designation of CHSP (Certified Hotel Sales Professional) from the American Hotel & Lodging Association 1999. Jason has held many roles in hospitality including Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Good Nite Inn Hotel Chain and Vice President General Manager for Guest Trends, a boutique web marketing company.
Outside the office, Jason loves to surf, ride motorcycles and sing karaoke.
